During my one and only experience with an (Asian) elephant, it tried to stomp on a dog on the way up the hill to the Amber Fort.
There's a cracking story (and a photo) related to this - which I'll share with you at another time.

Further to our conversation on Sunday, I was speaking to Meg's 'Uncle Lovat' last night.
He confirmed that there is a flight instructor at Dundee Airport with precisely the same name.
