So glad Major is making progress - I cannot even begin to imagine how horrendous it was - poor soul - it really is a confidence shaker isn't it for both you and Major. The photos that were posted were absolutely horrendous. When I take Wee Dash out in our field my head is on a swivel in case the same dog appears over the fence again and knocks Wee Dash flying. Talk about make you feel nervy. Some law has to be implemented to stop this continually happening. It is made all the worse by this Right to Roam Act where you always get someone who will abuse it and in any event a dog like the one who attacked poor Major should never be off a lead. In all honesty, given what happened, I doubt if they could have controlled it even if it was on a lead. It's a world gone completely mad where the innocent victims have little or no redress. Well, that's the rant for this morning and as for Wee Dash.............

Tonights the night! We are off to have our stitches out and I am absolutely dreading it because the incision goes right across his little boys bit and that is going to be so sore. Wanted to try and snip a few stitches myself over the course of the day so that we are half way there for this evening, but could not get turny up scissors with blunt ends anywhere. The good news prior to stitches coming out is that Wee Dash has gained weight and his bouncy and raring to go although he is not allowed off a lead for some time yet and even better his eyes are all sparkly - good sign.

We had visitors arrive yesterday and one sat on his sofa so he jumped up and promptly pushed them off - another good sign that he is feeling better and is positively in charge when it comes to his sofa!!
